Il più numeroso gruppo LHSC che
abbia mai visitato Edinburgh ! Derby al Tynecastle ottobre 2004. Una
giornata di svago culturale ci ha portati allo Scone Palace (sopra) e
il Castello di Glamis (sinistra), in compagnia di Ray Lardo e il nostro
hibbie favorito, Stevie. The biggest 'team' yet from Lombardia Hearts visited Edinburgh for the October derby game. Pre-match visits were arranged to Scone Palace (above) and Glamis Castle (left), in the company of Lardo and Stevie the Happy Hibby. |

Brunch per tutti prima della
partita.....una pie e una pinta.....o due in quell'angolo del Diggers
che è velocemente diventato di proprietà LHSC.
The day of the match we had brunch ..OK, a pie and a pint ...or two, ...in the Diggers, in what is fast becoming the Lombardia Hearts corner of the pub. Prima della partita c'è stato
il tempo di mostrare ai jambos presenti il nostro nuovo striscione per

Appena finito il match, di corsa a
casa per cambiarci e via al Royal Scots Club dove un tavolo a noi
riservato ci aspettava per una cena di gala in onore dei caduti della
prima guerra Mondiale.
Straight after the match ot was off home to change and then to the Royal Scots' Club and the Lombardia Hearts table of the Great War Memorial Fund dinner. Lardo non è riuscito ad organizzarci un incontro con Craig Gordon, quindi la sua targa la ritira il Presidente degli Hearts, sir George Foulkes Lardo having missed a vital phone call, the boys lost the opportunity to present the LHSC Player of the Year award to Craig Gordon in person, so in stepped club Chairman George Foulkes at the dinner to accept the engraved salver on behalf of Scotland's No.1 goalkeeper. |
