Hello and welcome to my website.

Ladies and Gentlemen, my name is Andrew-Henry Bowie and I am the author of Two miles to Tynecastle.  The purpose of these pages is to allow me to give you a tad more insight into the book’s themes, objectives and locations.  You will also find a link to my publishing company where you can effortlessly click on to pick up a copy or two of the book for you and your friends (shameless, I know!).  Two Miles is my first published offering and I am currently planning a new manuscript to carry on my work.

I was born on August 26th 1973 at the Simpson Maternity Unit at the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary and I’ve lived in the city ever since.  I am married to my wonderful wife Lesley, and we have a gorgeous little daughter, Jude-Lauren.  My great loves in life are my family, my friends, beers, laughs and a calamitous footballing institution known romantically as the Heart of Midlothian FC.  My book is the story of my very own evolving existence, survival and my life in love with the Jam Tarts.  It might make you laugh or cry or do both, but one thing is certain: chaos - will never be far away…
